Chem Horizons – Return Policy

At Chem Horizons, we uphold stringent quality control and regulatory compliance to ensure that all our chemical products meet international standards. However, we recognize that on rare occasions, returns may be necessary due to transit damage or supply discrepancies. This Return Policy outlines our protocol to handle such cases efficiently and transparently.


1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns only under the following conditions:

  • The product delivered is incorrect, damaged, or defective.
  • The packaging is tampered with or leaking upon receipt.
  • The delivered goods do not match the confirmed purchase order or technical specification sheet.

Note: Due to the sensitive and hazardous nature of chemical products, we do not accept returns for reasons such as change of mind, overstocking, or incorrect product handling post-delivery.


2. Return Request Timeline

To initiate a return:

  • The buyer must notify us within 3 business days of receipt of the goods.
  • A detailed explanation with photographic or video evidence of the issue must be submitted to:

Failure to report within the specified time frame will render the return request ineligible.


3. Return Authorization Process

  • Upon receiving your request, our Quality Assurance team will evaluate the case within 3–5 business days.
  • If approved, a Return Authorization Number (RAN) will be issued.
  • No returns will be accepted without a valid RAN.

4. Return Shipping Instructions

  • Products must be returned in original packaging with all safety labels, batch numbers, and documentation intact.
  • The customer must arrange and bear the return shipping costs, unless Chem Horizons is at fault.
  • For export shipments, all returns must comply with DG shipping, IATA, and local hazardous goods regulations.

5. Replacement or Refund

  • Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product:
  • A replacement will be dispatched, or
  • A refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
  • Refunds are only processed after verification of returned goods.

6. Non-Returnable Items

  • Opened or partially used chemicals.
  • Products damaged due to improper storage or handling by the customer.
  • Customized, bulk, or made-to-order goods.
  • Products returned without proper documentation or outside the allowed time window.

7. Dispute Resolution

In case of disagreements related to product quality or returns:

  • Chem Horizons will provide third-party lab test reports, if required.
  • We follow industry arbitration protocols in coordination with Export Promotion Councils, wherever applicable.
